NFL Weekly Top Ten Team Index: Week 15

This week’s edition of the Sports View 360 NFL Top Ten Index arrives at a critical moment in the playoff race. The standings are tightening, contenders are separating, and several heavyweights look like they are peaking at the perfect time. At the top, the Los Angeles Rams continue to operate at a level that feels sustainable and dangerous. Matthew Stafford is playing some of the best football of his career and the offense is rolling through opponents with ease. Right behind them, the Denver Broncos have now won ten straight games and are making an aggressive push for the number one seed in the AFC.

The New England Patriots, meanwhile, used their bye week to rest and reset for what could be a dramatic final stretch under first-year head coach Mike Vrabel. From there, things get even more interesting. Green Bay’s late-season surge has them looking like a legitimate NFC title threat. Seattle’s explosive special teams and turnover-driven defense are giving them weekly advantages. Chicago continues to look revitalized under Ben Johnson. The 49ers remain competitive despite quarterback changes. Houston’s defense might be the most suffocating unit in football, and both the Bills and Chargers are showing they can win tough, high-leverage games despite injuries and inconsistency.

With so many teams still in the mix, the path to January is getting tighter by the week, and this latest Index reflects just how chaotic and compelling the playoff push has become.
