The New Orleans Saints are riding a wave of offensive dominance as they enter Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season with an unblemished 2-0 record. With a league-leading 91 points and 11 touchdowns through two games, the Saints have emerged as one of the most explosive teams in the league. Led by quarterback Derek Carr, New Orleans has a chance to etch its name into the NFL history books this Sunday. As they prepare to face the Philadelphia Eagles, several offensive records are within reach, positioning this matchup as one where milestones could fall, and the Saints could cement their place among the league’s elite offenses.

The New Orleans Saints (2-0) enter Week 3 leading the NFL in points scored (91) and touchdowns (11) and, including Week 18 last season, became the third team since 1970 to score at least 44 points in three consecutive games, joining the 2018 New Orleans Saints (Weeks 9-11) and 2007 New England Patriots (Weeks 6-8).

The Saints, with 34 points against the Philadelphia Eagles (1 p.m. ET, FOX), can become the fourth team since 1970 with at least 125 points scored in their first three games of a season, joining the 2023 Miami Dolphins (130 points), 2013 Denver Broncos (127) and 2015 Arizona Cardinals (126).

He has a passer rating of 100 or higher in six consecutive starts, including a 125-or-higher rating in each of his past three, and has thrown at least two touchdown passes in seven consecutive starts.

On Sunday, Carr can become the fifth quarterback in NFL history to record seven consecutive games with at least two touchdown passes and a passer rating of 100 or higher, joining Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning (three times), Tom Brady (twice), Aaron Rodgers (twice) and Patrick Mahomes.
